God declares in the Qur’an that He has created mankind according to a certain disposition in the verse: "So set you your face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) God’s handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind." (Surat al-Room, 30). The disposition of mankind relies on being a servant to God and having faith in Him. Since man is unable to meet his unlimited wishes and needs by himself, he naturally needs to humble himself before God and turn to Him.
Verse 2:11 of the Noble Quran talks about anyone in any field who is corrupting but he thinks that he is a good doer. This verse could be applicable in any field of the different activities of the life, e.g., in school, in home, in work, in hospitals, in church, in politics, in wars etc.
The Bible says that they devoted the city (Jericho) to the Lord God and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it, men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys. In the Quran, this story as well as Jericho is not mentioned therein.
