Indians could not produce leaders?

We, the people of India must accept that we could not produce leaders.  All those who are standing in elections as candidates are not leaders, but they are rich people, they paid money for the purchase of the ticket and when they are elected they become MLA, MP or member of the society or unit for which they had been contesting.  They wind because of the money they had spent and therefore, the main purpose remains with them to recoup the money they had spent and to be ready for the next time.  If they collect surplus money, they can have more and more properties and assets and even if they have more amounts, they can deposit the same with Swiss banks for safe and secret deposits.

All the nations need leaders and the people of India too need leaders.  But we know that here in India we could not raise leaders and therefore, after Jawahar Lal Nehru, we could not produce a leader of his status.  All afterwards had been fill in the blank and they had been running government in a routine manner.  Therefore, we must have a thought on this point and must try to choose better people so that if they are not leaders, they must be able to run the administration well and honestly which we need in a democratic set up.  The concept of government of the people, by the people and for the people must be kept in view.  At present we are not choosing right people because of some difficulties with us.  The people are not having alternatives with them .  They are to choose people from the people produced before them and that is the reason most of the people have stopped visiting the poll booths.  The lowering percentage means that people are losing faith in the democracy till these sets of people are before them.  The political parties are not having any choice because they need money and only rich people can pay money.  They divide tickets to these people and that is the reason only a few people go to the Houses who can actually function there and mostly the people present in the Houses are mere voters who vote as per whips and most of them do not know what the problem was because they never participate in discussions.

The people get the government they deserve and this concept if fully applicable to the people of India.  If they continue as such, there is no chance that they shall produce leaders.  And a democracy with these people shall never bring real democracy to the people of India. They shall never produce leaders because the present set has got interests which are anti democracy.  The people in politics are not people from the people of India and therefore, we cannot expect that they shall do anything for the people of India because actually they are not coming to the seats of power for working for the welfare of the people.  They are there only to have more power and more money and they are successful in this venture.
