Genealogy or ancestry is something that millions of people are interested in. The Internet has made it much easier to conduct research into far flung distant relatives than it has ever been before.

You can buy software to present your findings in charts of various designs including conventional and radial charts.

The software works in a variety of ways. Some asks you a series of questions and then converts the results into a genealogical chart. Some allows you to search genealogical databases and then to compare the database with your research side by side, even then to merge the database with your own work and to print the results.

Most allows you to include photographs and pictures alongside names, helping your research have more meaning than just bare text.

You may be able to set up a family website that others can contribute to and access. The modern family tree software is very powerful and just the thing to share the research workload and results over the modern international family.
